I will admit upfront that I am a huge Agatha Christie fan. I love the suspense and mystery she created, and it thrills me to see her works being translated into my second love -- video games.
A fair warning to all players: this is a slow-paced game. If you enjoy rushing through games without paying much attention to detail, you may not like this. However, if you love to feel like you're a real life detective who has to scour scenes for clues, this is right up your alley.
Although Poirot is present in this game, you don't play as him. You work alongside him as a detective named Hastings. This probably isn't a con to anyone but the most die-hard Poirot fans.
If you are completely new to the Christie/Poirot franchise, be prepared to take your time; there is no rushing through this game, unless you want to spend too much time backtracking or consulting a guide. I would advise any potential players to go slow, examine each scene and each clue carefully, and be prepared to use your critical thinking skills.
