Age of Empires II: The Conquerors update

In the Age of Empires II, you have full control over an entire civilization that progresses in exactly the way you'd like. Trading is entirely up to you, and you can develop a complex army to battle with other civilizations in the world. In the 1.0c update for the Age of Empires II: The Conquorers, players are free to enjoy a load of enhancements, new features, and game fixes that create an even better gaming experience. Many changes have been made to civilizations and their perks, and battle stats have been changed to create a more realistic and fair environment.

A handful of other fixes for the game have been included that create an overall more smooth gaming experience. Some of the fixes include more intuitive artificial intelligence, loads of balance changes, the correction of the infamous "farm bug" (where villagers correctly walk around farms), more realistic starting zones and resources for various civilizations, and more.

Players that enjoy multiplayer will also enjoy the new Blind Random Map, Turbo Random Map, and Custom Random Maps features that create more exciting online scenarios for players.

To be able to use this particular update, you will need Age of Empires II initially. Remember that once you decide to upgrade your AoE II game to 1.0c, all multiplayer games that you join will pair you exclusively with others that also have the same version. For example, a player running under patch 1.0b cannot play with others that are running on either 1.0 or 1.0c.
