Area 51 is a first person shooter for PC. The basic story is you take over a military agent in the famous Area 51 government site where an alien life form is kept. Something goes wrong and you are left to discover what has happened.
This game offers nothing more than an average first person shooter. It has decent graphics for its time and has above average control response. The sound effects and music are another positive.
Unfortunately the positives cannot make this game more than average. The voice acting leaves something to be desired. While the graphics are adequate the designs of character are not very creative. The game suffers from being too much like hundreds of other first person shooters with nothing new to offer.
For fans of aliens and first person shooters, this may be a solid pick up. For most gamers, however, this game will not satisfy.
