Assassin's Creed: Revelations serves as the conclusion to Ezio Auditore's fascinating adventure that started in Assassin's Creed II<. An aged man, Ezio must go on one more journey using his questionable morals in order to keep peace in Italy. In addition to Ezio's story, current ancestor Desmond Miles must figure out if and how he can escape his coma state in a memory machine called the Animus.

Ezio's events in Assassin's Creed: Revelations take place around 10 years after the events of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Ezio must find five hidden keys that allow entrance into the library of Altair, who was the protagonist of the first Assassin's Creed game. However, the Templars do not make the search easy, and Ezio must search far and wide across the big city of Constantinople to find the keys before the Templars find them while also pursuing his love for a beautiful woman named Sofia.

Desmond possesses a unique story in Assassin's Creed: Revelations. Players must find Animus fragments that are scattered all about the city of Constantinople during their control of Ezio and use those fragments to unlock mysteries of Desmond's story. In total, there are 100 fragments to be found, but fewer than 50 of them are required to unlock all of Desmond's memories.

Assassin's Creed: Revelations possesses controls that are similar to the other Assassin's Creed games. Players can climb buildings and towers while developing strategic methods for assassinating enemies. As always, stealth is key, but it is not always required to succeed in the game. Players are frequently given multiple options for dealing with enemies, and they also must try to keep a low profile by removing 'wanted' posters, bribing leaders and killing information holders. People who need to practice these skills can jump into a training simulator in the Animus to perfect their stealth and attack maneuvers.

New to Assassin's Creed: Revelations is the hookblade, which is a tool that allows Ezio to glide across ropes, hook onto high ledges and flip over enemies to create an even more exciting free-roam atmosphere. In addition, players can combine a number of items to make numerous bombs that can be used as distractions, weapons and hiding mechanisms. Players can also purchase shops and banks while taking over Templar districts in order to give Ezio more power and influence in Constantinople.

Fans of the Assassin's Creed franchise will absolutely love Revelations, and the game will leave them desiring even more Assassin's Creed adventures. The game has been given very high ratings by players due to its gorgeous graphics and amazing action gameplay. Players will quickly become absorbed in the life of Ezio Auditore, and his wisdom and skills will constantly amaze players. Such greatness has caused many people to eagerly anticipate the arrival of Assassin's Creed III, which is scheduled to be released late 2012.
