Anyone that loves classic horror or kaiju movies should feel right at home when they play Attack of the 50ft Robot. The player is shoved straight into the cockpit of a giant mecha unit and set free to rampage through black and white levels. Most third person perspective action games don't have the hilarious storyline or excellent graphics that this game does. A small tutorial helps players to get the hang of their lasers and rockets. One can also feel free to throw objects around if they wish. It might be compared to a cross between Rampage and Mobile Suit Gundam.
DigiPen Institute of Technology is located in Redmond, Washington. That places it in the vicinity of companies like Microsoft and Nintendo of America. These students have an experience that no one else does. No one should be afraid of playing this game, despite the fact that it is given away freely by college students. They especially shouldn't worry about the origin of the game while they're taking down innocent villagers in their own version of a monster movie. Advanced players will eventually come to love the hectic game play, but new players might feel that the game is over the top.
