Back To The Future The Game

Based on the film series of the same name, Telltale's episodic game series "Back to the Future" takes place soon after the end of the final film. Though the season does have a singular, overarching storyline regarding the fate of Doc Brown, each of the season's five episodes also has a unique individual goal and story to tell. Fans of the series will also be happy to know that many of the film's original actors reprise their roles in the game, including Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown and Claudia Wells as Marty's girlfriend Jennifer.

Players control Marty McFly in each of the five episodes, and like Telltale's other episodic games, the game is a point-and-click adventure where players are tasked with solving puzzles, obtaining items and talking with NPCs. The story begins with Doc Brown missing from Hill Valley for several months, which worries Marty greatly. When the DeLorean time machine suddenly appears, Marty takes it as sign to begin investigating Doc's apparent last location, Hill Valley in 1931. Finding Doc Brown imprisoned in the past, Marty sets about freeing him. While he ends up being successful, this event leads to a series of events that changes both Marty and Doc's future.

"Back to the Future" is a must-play title for fans of the film series. Even those unfamiliar with the series should be able to find something to like in the puzzles and well-written story that explores everything from friendship to the far-reaching effects of trying to change the past.
