Ben There, Dan That is a fun adventure game that's well-suited for both new and experienced gamers. On one level, it's a standard adventure game with worlds to explore, objects to assemble, and puzzles to solve. The puzzles are challenging but manageable, and the visual and sound effects aren't particularly high-end. But what places this game a cut above the rest is the witty writing, which should appeal especially to fans of British humor. Ben and Dan's commentary is hilarious throughout the game, and while their off-color jokes make this game a better fit for older gamers (think age 15 and up), they definitely liven up the experience. Case in point: it turns out Ben and Dan embarked on their adventure after they were kidnapped by aliens and sent to an alternate dimension. The ever-present humor also makes searching for objects much more fun, considering there seems to be some kind of joke attached to everything. Whether you're looking for a good laugh or some tricky puzzles, Ben There, Dan That offers something for everyone.
