Brothers in Arms Road to Hill 30 is a first person shooter set in World War 2. Now you may be thinking that there have been plenty of those and you couldn't stand another one, but hear me out. Brothers in Arms is a series based on tactics and realism. You cannot charge into enemies or even stand out in the open for a few seconds. When you encounter enemies, you have to stay in cover, and direct your squads to flank the enemy and attack from a good position, while another squad provides covering fire. This may be the most realistic war shooter ever in its design. It helps that the graphics, sound, and writing are all great. Most of the missions play out the same as you fight your way across France, but the game design is so refreshing and challenging that it really doesn't matter. If you are looking for something different in your next shooter, this is a great choice.
