Have you always yearned for the opportunity to be behind the wheel of a bus? Bus Driver is bus driving simulation game that is realistic, educational, fun, and challenging. Choose from a selection of bus types and routes and get started! The timer is on, but safety always comes first. Points for good driving can earn you a promotion from a city bus to a double-decker tour bus or even a prison transport bus! Go from bus stop to bus stop and load and unload passengers. Note who is standing instead of sitting and sit them down! Steer through town and countryside observing all traffic laws and treating all customers with respect. Then again, some of us may be tempted to hit the gas when we should be hitting the brakes and take our passengers for a spin! That will not win the game for you, however, since points, promotions, and total score is based on good driving habits.
The images are quite realistic. You can cruise past mountains, meadows, and woodlands. Weather comes alive with on-screen snowfall, icy roads, gusty winds, heavy rain, etc. You will need to drive in light of the conditions or risk skidding and crashing. City views are just as realistic as the country panoramas. Buildings and lights and pedestrians abound.
If considering becoming a real life bus driver, you may be able to gain a little practice from this simulation game. All of the issues faced by real bus drivers are worked into the game to make it educational.
You will have a map screen showing your route, and your speedometer will be in eye shot. It's not as easy to drive inside those yellow lines as you might think, so be ready to tap on the brakes if needed. Tutorial hints will make you aware of traffic violations and driving hazards, but it is up to you to get your people to their destination on time and in one piece!
