CyberMind is a PC game that emulates Master Mind and actually improves on it with a highly intuitive and powerful interface. Master Mind is a two-player code-breaking game. CyberMind supports the two-player game, played to a score, but it also supports a solitaire version of the game. The goal of the game is to figure out a 4-unit code within 12 steps. A marble represents each unit of the code, marbles come in six colors, and the code pattern can have multiple marbles of the same color.
CyberMind is quite similar except that it supports 5-unit codes as well as 4-unit codes, and the user has the option of increasing/decreasing the number of guesses and unique marbles. By changing these factors, the user can significantly increase/decrease the difficulty of the game. When a player makes a guess, they receive pegs that indicate information about their guess. The nice thing about CyberMind is that the computer handles that role, which means there’s need for the additional player.
