Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is a first person fantasy action game created in the Valve's Source engine. It features melee, ranged, and magic combat, and rpg style perks and leveling. The game is a linear story where the choice comes from how you build and play your character. You can be a warrior, a thief, a mage, or any combination of the three. You fight through relatively large levels full of enemies and and a few light puzzles, some of which use Source-based physics. The game is a pretty good fantasy action game, with lots of different enemies and chances to grow your character and collect magical items. The story tries to be exciting but is just a little above average with some very obvious twists.The graphics are decent, but not aging well, as this game is getting pretty old. There is multiplayer, but by now the servers are likely empty, so you'll need some friends to get together with. Overall the game is a good time, just don't expect too much and you should be pleasantly surprised.
