I'll first start off by saying that getting this demo of Delta Force: Land Warrior to work on modern machines will likely be infuriating. No amount of configuration to the settings or playing with compatibility mode helps in attempting to play any actual missions, though ultimately it will depend on your hardware and operating system. Attempting to use the "demo updater" results in failure due to it seemingly not able to reach a server to update anything.
That being said, the demo offers appetizing gameplay of Delta Force: Land Warrior, leaving any classic FPS enthusiast with a lingering taste and thirsting for more. Giving unlimited access to its five characters: Gas Can, Mako, Pitbull, Snakebite, and Longbow, and although not interchangeable; a small variety of satisfying weaponry. And of course, one full mission through Egypt's Giza Pyramids showing off many of the game's strong-points and a great deal of thirst-quenching classic FPS action.
If you can get it to work on your system, it is more than worth its weight for a try.
