In Diner Dash 2, you get to live the life of a restaurant owner and experience the highs and lows that come with it. This game has all the fun and excitement that came with the first Diner Dash game and much more. There are five new restaurants for you to work your way up to, four new types of customers for you to figure out how to please, more decor upgrades and you get a free screensaver. For those just trying out the game, they get unlimited play time. However, by purchasing the full game, they have a chance to complete all the levels, and they gain access to all on offer.

How to play

When you start playing, you begin with a simple diner, and you get a certain amount of ingredients that you have to use to fill the orders that your customers place. You will be given a certain amount of time to serve each customer. You can gauge each customer's satisfaction with your service and cooking by their facial expressions and mannerisms. They will also leave tips. The amount they leave in tips is in accordance with what they thought of the overall experience. Serve all the customers to pass a level. Lose points for wasting food; i.e burning it or taking so long to prepare it that the customer who ordered it gets steaming, smoking mad and storms out. Serve all the customers perfectly with time to spare and you earn bonuses and extra points. Use your earnings for upgrades to your diner and to eventually purchase a better, bigger diner.

This game works on all versions of Windows and Windows Vista.

Real restaurant work may not even be this fun and challenging. Diner Dash 2 won a Zeeby award for best arcade and action game.
