Soccer, hockey, basketball and American football fans all have games that simulate playing their favorite sport, but with EA Sports Cricket, fans of cricket from all over the world now have a game made just for them. While EA has been a bit slow releasing new versions of games in its Cricket series, the most recent edition of the game is there are comes with a variety of improvements, such as better sound effects and player graphics.

This game gives you a lot more control over your player character compared to most other cricket simulation games available for the PC today. In EA Sports Cricket, you get to decide on shot power, direction, foot choice and several other variables whenever it's your turn to play. This also means that the keyboard controls have been changed slightly from the previous versions, but are easy to learn thanks to the quick tutorials and learning section available in the game.

A few other improvements have been made to EA Sports Cricket to give the game some added elements of realism. You get to use some new camera angles, players now have real brand-name equipment and there's commentary from some of the best sports commentators in the world as you play. While the game has been generally well received by cricket fans, there are some more experienced players who complained that it's too easy at the default difficulty settings. This isn't much of a problem, as the difficulty can be adjusted before starting a game. More casual gamers will also appreciate having a sports game that isn't too hard to play.
