Unlike in previous games, you won’t be able to just press down a button and defend against the AI or other players – you’re going to have to actively defend your net and prevent the opposing team from winning.

It should go without saying that in this game timing is everything, so expect to have a tough go of things until you master it! Once you figure out timing and rhythm for the game you’ll be rewarded with a truly challenging and immersive experience.

All in all, this is a solid offering that introduced a lot of core functionality to modern FIFA games and is definitely worth checking out. If you’re used to older FIFA games this one might take a little time to get your timing down but once you do it’s well worth it!
