"Infernal" is a third-person supernatural action game for the PC, but the gameplay draws inspiration from many first-person shooters. Players control Ryan Lennox, a fallen angel who now serves Satan as a member of the Abyss agency. Lennox wages war against his heavenly counterparts in the Ethernet organization, elevating a traditional spy scenario to biblical proportions.
As the game progresses, Lennox develops a number of special powers, including telekinesis and teleportation. He's also able to suck the soul from enemies, absorbing their health and any other valuable items. He also utilizes an arsenal of weapons like machine guns, flamethrowers, rocket launchers, and sniper rifles. While most of the game involves mindless slaughter, Lennox occasionally needs to solve puzzles and to figure ways out of seemingly impossible situations.
