Island Wars 2 Christmas Edition is a new version of Island Wars 2, with a Christmas theme and new content scattered throughout. There are several new weapons, game types, and islands to fight over. It also features a new set of graphics that help it look less like a flash game.
Island Wars 2 Christmas Edition is still Island Wars at its heart. And Island Wars is about 2 players with their own island taking turns shooting weapon at each other to destroy each other. This is a classic game idea that has been done over and over, so new games of this style need to distinguish themselves with a twist on the classic formula to really succeed. Island Wars 2 Christmas edition doesn't offer an amazing rethink of the formula but it is still a fairly good time blasting a friend or the computer. The AI has improved in Christmas edition and the new game types offer more variety this time around.
