Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is an action video game developed by Crystal Dynamics and Nixxes Software. It was published by Eidos Interactive and distributed by Square Enix. The game was initially released in August of 2010.

The game is set up with a fixed 3-D camera platform and is played in third person. There is a traditional single player campaign mode, but like never before with the Lara Croft games, there is a multiplayer campaign mode as well. In the cooperative mode, the second gamer can play as Totec, a 2000 year old Mayan warrior to help Lara to defeat Xoloti and take from him the Mirror of Smoke.

This game is rated T for Teen. It received great reviews from critics on all platforms and sold a great amount of copies early in its release.
