Lego Pirates of the Caribbean

Lego Pirates of the Caribbean is yet another entry in the long-running series of the Traveller's Tales developed Lego games, this time focusing on the stories of the four Pirates of the Caribbean films. Players can choose to play as one of close to 70 different characters, including film favorites such as Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Davy Jones and Elizabeth Swan. Like most of the other Lego games, such as Lego Star Wars and Lego Indiana Jones, players will fight their way through recreations of the films' most iconic scenes as they collect studs to unlock secrets and more characters.

The gameplay of Lego Pirates of the Caribbean is fairly straightforward. From the games starting hub, The Port, players choose a character and then can choose to play through the game's story mode or choose to replay already-completed levels to earn more studs. Each of the games levels comes with their own set of challenges and puzzles, but the basic idea remains the same throughout. Using a variety of character-specific skills, players must fight their way through each level, occasionally solving puzzles along the way. These levels can range from simplistic to thoroughly complicated in terms of difficulty.

If you're new to the Lego series of games, Lego Pirates of the Caribbean is a great starting place. While the difficulty can be a bit all over the place, the humor and action is sure to please fans of the films as well as avid game players. There isn't any shortage of fun to be had, either.
