"Lost Planet: Extreme Condition" is set sometime in the distant future on a distant planet known as E.D.N. III. You play as Wayne Holden, a soldier that is attempting to help in the colonization of this new planet since the Earth has long-since been left as uninhabitable due to pollution, war and global warming. Unfortunately, E.D.N. III is a harsh, frozen landscape fully occupied by an alien race known as the Akrid--monsterous creatures with an intense distaste for humans.
"Lost Planet: Extreme Condition" features a huge world with an equally impressive variety of environments all presenting unique challenges to your survival. You face battles with foes both on foot and with aide of a score of various armed vehicles. Even the planet itself--with its icy and unforgiving landscape--presents a constant challenge as you must continuously replenish thermal energy in your suit just to keep from freezing to death. This game is nonstop action, explosions and adventure as you battle your way toward the very survival of the human race.
