The seventh installment of the popular Medal of Honor video game series, "Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault" is a first-person shooter for the PC that highlights the Pacific theater of World War II. While it features an extensive single-player campaign, the game comes to life thanks to its four distinct online multiplayer modes.
In Free For All mode, players compete as individuals in a battle to the death, with no teams or other objectives getting in the way. Team Match mode features one team of Allies fighting another team of Axis soldiers to see which can accumulate the most kills. A Round-Based Match utilizes the same team concept, except the two teams fight a predetermined number of timed rounds to determine a winner. And finally, Invader mode requires players to accomplish one specific goal at a time in an effort to progress deeper into enemy territory.
