If you enjoy games that involve war and lots of action, then this is one that you want to play.
There are two ways to play the game. You can play one way with a large map that involves quite a bit of strategy or the other way where you simply do battle against the opponent. This is more of the free-play aspect where you can pretty much do what you want in the game. The maps that are available make it easy to see where your soldiers are located and the buildings that you put in place. You can also see where the opponent is located, making it a bit easier to strike.
The battle map features play that takes place in real time while the strategic approach allows you to position your soldiers, coming back at a later time to see what has happened with the battles before moving them again. The overall design of the game is from the Napoleon era. From the weapons to the clothing on the soldiers, it looks like you're watching a movie from this time period instead of just playing a game. You want to look at trying to take control of the ocean before the land as this is where many of your opponents will try to take over control. However, if you work better in areas that are a bit more stable, then stick with the land and trying to take over the smaller units as you can then spread to the larger units that need to be defeated.
