NBA 2K15

NBA 2K15 is the latest edition of the popular NBA 2K basketball games series. It brings back some of the elements that have made the previous games the most popular basketball video game of the world, while including a variety of improvements and new features that truly distinguishes it from its predecessors.

Just like other NBA series games, NBA 2K15 is an officially licensed product, so you get to see real teams, players and locations. The game's graphics have been described as "astonishing" and "amazing" by various sports and video game publications, making it almost perfect at the visual level. The most noticeable improvements in the area of graphics concern the non-playable characters, like mascots, cheerleaders, fans in the crowd and coaches. While they may not share the same level of detail as the players on the court, they now have a more realistic appearance, as opposed to looking like they're part of the scenery, even when standing right next to the active player.

You get sports commentary throughout the game and the audio elements, like sound effects, speech and background music, are all of excellent quality. NBA 2K15 also brings in an entirely new playing mode called MyGM. It lets you play the game as a team's general manager, putting you in control of various elements of a basketball's franchise regular operations, right down to the details like ticket prices. An online multiplayer mode is available as well. Sadly, its quality hasn't been in line with other aspects of the game, with players reporting frequent outages and glitches that have only recently been fixed.
