Rainbow Six Siege transports us into a world with the classic squad tactics we knew and loved in Counter Terrorism. Rainbow Six Siege brings us to the natural conclusion of the Counter Strike-style game. You play in team-based multiplayer, and through the three T's you have some of the tightest FPS gameplay around. Those three focuses include Tension, Tactics and Teamwork. The tight maps feature destructible environments, and you must play through every round with the basic formula.

You play in a five-on-five game where the balanced numbers ensure harmonious gameplay. Meanwhile, the goals and classes will all be different. The design of the gameplay makes for some asymmetrical play where both teams must keep guessing the motives of the opposing team. Before each round, you must plan out each round and work out the character classes to equip. The planning turns into that additional layer that distinguishes this game from the others. During the planning phase, you can recon the area and plan your attack as the enemy team improves upon their defenses.

The match duration always takes place in short bouts where you only have three minutes every round. In the meantime, the asymmetrical gameplay keeps you guessing about where the next assault will land. In the beta of Rainbow Six, you had to rescue hostages from a house, but the catch was that you didn't know their location in the house. This meant using advanced surveillance techniques to identify the hostage location, while the terrorists secured the doors, covered the windows and reinforced the walls.
