You can tell a bit of a difference while playing this game compared to the original version of Roller Coaster Tycoon. The details of the rides are a bit more evident, and there are a few more options when it comes to the colors and the design of the rides as well as the attractions and decorations that can be added to the park. You need to use a bit of strategy while playing the game as you need to make money while keeping the customers happy. A blend of coasters, mild rides and rides for the kids will give you a park that thrives.

There are several details that you can control with your park. Set the admission price, change the prices of the food and drink vendors as well as the gift shops along with changing the direction that some of the rides circle in to give guests a fun environment. There is a Soaked expansion with this version that gives you an opportunity to make a water park. You can create everything from gravity defying drops to the water below to pools that guests can swim in when they don't want to ride or walk around the park. You can also add safari animals to your park, making the area look a little like a zoo instead of a typical theme park.
