Based on Team Fortress 2, the multiplayer 3D shooter from Valve, Team Fortress Arcade takes the characters and levels that players have grown to love and transplants them into a 2D side-scrolling arcade game. Designed to be in the same spirit as old arcade games like TMNT and Final Fight, players can choose from one of the nine different classes from Team Fortress 2 in order to make their way through the game's ten stages. Each character brings their class-specific talents to the fray, so if you pick the Demo you'll be blowing enemies up, while if you pick the Medic you'll be able to heal your comrades with your gun.
The game supports four players total which provides a lot of co-op gaming fun, and because each boss is inspired by the games classes as well, fans of Team Fortress 2 will be able to experience their favorite characters in brand new ways. Team Fortress Arcade isn't an official Valve game, however, so be aware that it is completely fan-made and fan supported. Even if you aren't familiar with the characters and locales from Team Fortress 2, any fan of classic beat'em up games will find a lot of humor and fun playing Team Fortress Arcade.
