In The Adventures of Tintin the Secret of the Unicorn, the official PC game adaptation of Steven Spielberg's CGI blockbuster, players take on the role of globe-trotting young reporter Tintin in an adventure that spans a wide variety of gameplay styles, from platform action to puzzle-solving to driving and flying.
Featuring a number of additional playable characters, including Captain Haddock and Tintin's loyal canine companion, Snowy, the game is rendered in the film's colorful motion-captured style, and makes playable a number of epic action sequences from the movie. The action takes place over a variety of exotic environments, from treasure-filled underwater caverns to the Sahara Desert to the high seas and skies. Players can go it alone or team up with a friend to tackle the game's stages in two-player co-op mode.
Fans of the movie, the classic Herge characters, or of cinematic action gaming in general should find a lot to like in The Adventures of Tintin the Secret of the Unicorn, and with a promised 20 hours of gameplay, there's a lot here for them to enjoy.
