Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth adds more than 100 hours of gameplay to Binding of Isaac.

Binding of Isaac is a procedurally generated action RPG that incorporates numerous Rogue-like elements. The game has drawn many comparisons to Zelda. The core experience boasts more than 500 hours of gameplay, and Afterbirth adds more than 100 more. When you consider the random element, this really expands the game in an exponential manner. In addition, there are more than 1,000 new and unique room designs so that you can go for a long time without entering a duplicate.

Better yet, Afterbirth doesn’t just provide new levels to explore. It expands the main game, which means each time you sit down to play, you’ll be able to take advantage of all the old and new elements alike. The expansion also introduces a new mode called Greed. Greed mode is an excellent option for experienced players because it gives them access to upgrades faster but at a greater risk.

Afterbirth also adds 120 new items to collect plus an alternative soundtrack for the main game. In addition to dailies, there is now one new Daily Run a day plus an online leaderboard to see how you measure up. There are dailies only players with Afterbirth can access. There are also secret transformations, new achievements and much more.

Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth is an expansion and not a standalone game. That means you’ll need both games to play, and if you don’t have the original, you’ll need to look at the prices of each in order to know the total price of the game.
