The colorful LEGO blocks come to life in this fun game of designing.
While the details of the game, such as the menu options and the graphics, could use a bit of work, this is a game that is fun to play. It's ideal for children who enjoy LEGOs and have seen the movie or those who like to build and work with the blocks to create fun designs. There is a story line in the game. If you veer off the story, it's easy to pick back up later. You'll see a few characters who don't look like they should be in the game at all along with worlds that you wouldn't expect to find with LEGOs. The intrigue is what brings the game to life.
Your character is Emmett. He is a hero of sorts and is a construction worker, suited for LEGOs. He is from the Big Apple and wants to live a normal life, but that all changes when he meets a girl named Wyldstyle who is from another universe. You will have to play in each universe to gain more experience in building and to get more tools that are needed to get through the game. There are a few small tasks to complete in the game that will give you more points, but you have to find them as they are hidden in the levels. You need blueprints before you can build, most that are seen on the corners of the screen. The menus in the game will give you plenty of hints to get through each level.
